Hey! I'm Miranda, an NYC-born and based writer, comedian, and musician. I spent my time at Emerson College studying theatre, comedy, and working on Breaking News, Emerson's live-to-tape satirical news show (first hosting, and later head writing and segment producing). After graduating, I performed with my sketch group The Professional Background Extras in a residency at the People's Improv Theater. During the pandemic, I joined the board of Gold Comedy, and helped launch their premiere online platform for women and non-binary people in comedy —since 2020 I've been writing Gold's weekly newsletter, Tight Five, and now produce and perform in monthly videos with Gold digital sketch team Bingo Night. I also have a background in child care and early education; I currently work as a scriptwriter for Ascend Now, a personalized education platform. The first season of my original web series Pepper and Mickey wrapped in November of 2022 and is in post-production.
